A Film from 1990 by The Fribblers Frank who are Mixup and Tony Thomas. Soundtrack by Mixup, Tony Thomas and Neil Deakin.

Mixup has been creating art and music since the late 1970's. He joined the "Weekend Lunatics" in the late 70's and was in the band "Steamroller Gloves" in the early 80's.

A song writer, singer and keyboard player, he uses digital and analogue synths. His favourite analogue synth is the classic VCS3.

He set up Whisk Records as a platform to release some of his own eclectic musings and those musicians he collaborates with.

Mixup is a vinyl DJ going under the banner of "The Baron". With an 5,000 plus vinyl selection to choose from he has no problem moving from genre to genre but currently specialises in, fuzz soul groover's, funk rock movers, mod psych dancers and bespoke pop chancers.

Mixup is a photobooth artist, starting way back in the late 1970's. He organised the first International Photobooth Convention in 1999 and has been a catalyst for many events worldwide working not only as a street artist but also bringing those idea's to a workshop environment including the Victoria & Albert museum.

Mixup is also a music historian specialising in the history of music from the Nottinghamshire region from the 1950's to the 1980's. Visit the nottsmusicarchive.
